Managing Bot Recording Disclosures for Video Calls
To help you maintain transparency and stay compliant with recording regulations, CoRecruit allows you to enable automated disclosures for your video meetings. These features inform participants that a meeting is being recorded through an audio announcement or a chat message as soon as the note-taking bot joins.
Note: Bot disclosures are OFF by default for all users. You must manually enable them in your settings if you wish to use them.
Available Disclosure Options
You can choose one or both of the following methods to notify your participants:
-
Voice Announcement: Plays a brief audio message to all participants when the bot enters the call.
-
Chat Announcement: Automatically posts a message in the meeting's chat window (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet) announcing the recording.
