Managing Email Notifications
Learn how to control which emails CoRecruit sends you, and what each notification means.
CoRecruit sends email notifications to keep you informed about important activity such as when a meeting finishes processing, when an integration stops working, or when a commitment from a meeting needs your follow-up.
You have full control over which of these emails you receive. With the exception of a small set of essential transactional emails (like password resets or billing updates), every notification can be individually enabled or disabled.
As CoRecruit continues to evolve, new notification types will be added to this page.
Where to Find Notification Settings
To access your notification preferences:
- Click the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top navigation bar.
- Select Notifications from the left-hand sidebar.
- Toggle each notification on or off using the checkbox on the right.
ℹ Notification preferences are personal, each team member controls their own settings independently.
Essential Notifications
Some emails are always sent regardless of your notification preferences. These are critical transactional messages required to keep your account secure and your subscription running.
Examples include:
- Password reset and account security emails
- Billing and subscription updates
These cannot be disabled.
Meetings Notifications
These notifications relate to your recorded meetings and how they are processed. They keep you informed at key points in the post-meeting workflow — from auto-tagging to ATS note delivery.
|
Meeting Type Predicted |
|
Meeting Type Predicted Sent when CoRecruit automatically assigns a meeting type to one of your recordings. |
✓ On by default |
CoRecruit can automatically predict and assign a meeting type (e.g. First Interview, Intro Call) based on the content of your recording. This notification lets you know when that has happened so you can review or adjust the assignment if needed.
|
Follow-up Materials |
|
Follow-up Materials Sent when CoRecruit automatically delivers selected follow-up materials after a meeting is processed. |
Off by default |
If you have configured follow-up materials (such as scorecards or email templates) to be delivered automatically after meetings of a specific type, this notification confirms that those materials have been sent. This is useful for auditing what was delivered and when.
|
Database Notes |
|
Database Notes Sent when your ATS notes are ready to review following meeting processing. |
Off by default |
After a meeting finishes processing, CoRecruit can generate structured notes for your ATS database record. This notification delivers those notes to your inbox. It is off by default, but may be useful if you prefer reviewing notes via email before pushing them to your ATS.
|
Meeting Privacy Changed |
|
Meeting Privacy Changed Sent when the visibility of a meeting is changed between private and team-wide. |
✓ On by default |
Meetings in CoRecruit can be set to private (visible only to you) or team-wide (visible to your entire team). This notification alerts you whenever the privacy setting on one of your meetings is changed — useful for staying aware of who can access your recordings.
Integration Notifications
These notifications alert you to issues with your connected integrations — including your calendar, ATS, and VoIP connections.
|
Integration Disconnected |
|
Integration Disconnected Sent when a connected integration stops working or needs to be reconnected. |
✓ On by default |
Integrations can become disconnected for a variety of reasons — such as an expired token or a password change. This notification applies to all of your connected integrations, including calendar, ATS, and VoIP. Prompt reconnection ensures that your recordings, notes, and call data continue to sync without interruption.
Smart Notifications
Smart Notifications are AI-powered alerts that surface actionable insights from your meetings — such as follow-up tasks and commitments you may have made during a call.
|
Smart Reminders |
|
Smart Reminders Sent when CoRecruit detects commitments or follow-ups mentioned in your meetings. |
✓ On by default |
After a meeting is processed, CoRecruit scans the transcript for any commitments or follow-ups mentioned during the conversation, for example, "I'll send you the job description by Friday" or "Let's schedule a second interview next week." These are surfaced as actionable reminders delivered to your inbox.
More notification types will be added here as CoRecruit continues to develop. Check back for updates.
