Pushing Meeting Notes to Your ATS
Choose how and when your AI-generated meeting notes are sent to your connected ATS — automatically after every meeting, manually after review, or not at all.
CoRecruit generates AI-powered notes after every recorded meeting. You have full control over whether and when those notes are sent to your ATS.
There are three modes, configured per ATS integration under your settings:
|
Mode |
What happens to your notes |
Best for |
|---|---|---|
|
Push Notes Automatically |
Sent to your ATS as soon as a meeting finishes processing. No action required. |
Teams who want a zero-touch, hands-off workflow. |
|
Push Notes Manually After Review |
Held in CoRecruit until you choose to push them. Review and edit before sending. |
Recruiters who want to verify or personalise notes first. |
|
Do Not Push Notes |
Never sent to your ATS. Notes stay in CoRecruit only. |
Teams who manage ATS notes separately. |
Changing Your Notes Push Setting
This setting is configured per ATS integration and applies to all meetings going forward.
- Go to Settings in the left navigation.
- Select Integrations, then click on your connected ATS.
- Find the Notes Push Setting dropdown.
- Select your preferred mode. Your choice saves automatically.
💡 Note: If you previously had "Do Not Push Notes" enabled, your setting has been preserved automatically. You will see that option already selected in the dropdown — nothing has changed for you.
Mode 1: Push Notes Automatically (Default)
Default mode. This is the default setting for all CoRecruit accounts. If you have never changed this setting, you are already in this mode.
When Auto mode is active, CoRecruit sends your AI-generated meeting notes to your connected ATS as soon as a meeting has finished processing. There is nothing you need to do, notes appear in your ATS automatically.
What to expect
- After a meeting ends and processing completes, notes are pushed to your ATS within a few minutes.
- The candidate or contact record in your ATS is updated with the AI-generated notes.
- You can still view and edit notes from the Notes tab of any meeting in CoRecruit at any time. However, edits made after the initial push will not be re-sent automatically. To update your ATS after editing, switch to Manual mode and use the push button.
When to use this mode
- You trust the AI-generated output and don’t need to review notes before they reach your ATS.
- You want a fully hands-off workflow with no extra steps after each meeting.
- Your team logs a high volume of meetings and individually reviewing each one isn’t practical.
Mode 2: Push Notes Manually After Review
When Manual mode is active, CoRecruit holds your meeting notes until you are ready to send them. Notes will not appear in your ATS until you click the push button — giving you a chance to review and edit first.
How to push notes to your ATS
- Open the meeting from the Meetings list.
- Click the Database Notes tab.
- Review the AI-generated notes. Make any edits — fix names, adjust tone, add context.
- When you’re satisfied, click Push Notes to ATS.
- A success confirmation will appear once the notes have been sent.
Pushing notes more than once
You can push notes as many times as you need. If notes have already been pushed, CoRecruit will ask you to confirm before sending again:
- A dialog will appear letting you know notes have already been pushed.
- Click Push Again to overwrite the ATS notes with the latest version.
- Click Cancel to leave the ATS notes unchanged.
When to use this mode
- You want to verify or clean up AI-generated notes before they appear in your ATS.
- You regularly add context or personalisation to notes after a meeting.
- Your ATS records are visible to clients or colleagues and accuracy is important.
Mode 3: Do Not Push Notes
When this mode is active, CoRecruit will never send meeting notes to your ATS. Notes are generated and stored in CoRecruit as normal — they simply stay there and are not synced anywhere.
What to expect
- Meeting notes are still generated by CoRecruit’s AI after every meeting.
- Notes are fully accessible and editable from the Notes tab within CoRecruit.
- Nothing is sent to your ATS. Your ATS records are not touched.
- There is no push button on the Notes tab in this mode.
⚠️ Keep in mind: Switching from "Do Not Push Notes" to one of the push modes will only affect future meetings. Notes from past meetings will not be pushed retroactively.
When to use this mode
- You manage ATS notes separately and don’t want CoRecruit to write to your records.
- Your team uses CoRecruit for transcription and AI insights only, not for ATS note-taking.
- You are in a trial or evaluation phase and aren’t ready to push notes to your ATS yet.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this setting apply to the whole team or just me?
The Notes Push Setting is configured per ATS integration and applies to all team members who share that integration. Changing it affects the whole team.
What happens to meetings that were already pushed automatically before I switched modes?
Changing the setting only affects meetings going forward. Meetings that were already pushed to your ATS are not affected or removed.
If I switch to Manual mode, will my past notes still be in CoRecruit?
Yes. All meeting notes remain in CoRecruit regardless of your push mode. The setting only controls whether notes are sent to your ATS, it does not affect anything stored in CoRecruit.
Can I push notes if I don’t have an ATS connected?
No. The push button only works when you have an active ATS integration connected. If no ATS is connected, the option will not work.
What if the push fails?
CoRecruit will show an error message if something goes wrong. The push status indicator will remain unchanged so you know the notes were not sent. You can try again at any time.
I edited notes after they were pushed automatically. Will the ATS update?
No. In Auto mode, edits made after the initial push are not re-sent to your ATS automatically. Click the "Save and Update" button after any edits you want to keep, and the notes will then be saved to CoRecruit, and pushed to your ATS. Where possible, we will overwrite the existing note with the new contents, but in cases where the ATS' API integration doesn't allow us to overwrite, we might create a new note.
ATS Compatibility
Notes push, in all three modes is available for every ATS that CoRecruit supports. If you have a connected ATS in your settings, this feature works with it.
💡 Tip: Not sure which ATS integrations your account has enabled? Go to Settings > Integrations to see all active connections.
