WebEx Integration

CoRecruit's integration with Webex lets you automatically import your recorded Webex calls and meetings into CoRecruit. Once connected, any completed and recorded Webex call is pushed to CoRecruit, where it's processed the same way as any other meeting.

How to set up the integration

Connecting your Webex account takes less than a minute and uses Webex's secure sign-in (OAuth). CoRecruit never sees or stores your Webex password.

  1. In your CoRecruit dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Scroll to the Video Conferencing Integrations section under All Integrations and select Webex.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. You'll be redirected to Webex's sign-in page. Enter your Webex email address and password.
  5. Once authorised, you'll be returned to CoRecruit. The integration status will update to Connected.

Note: You will need an active Webex account to connect. If your Webex account uses single sign-on (SSO), you may be redirected through your company's identity provider to complete the sign-in.

How it works

Once connected, CoRecruit monitors your Webex account for completed recordings. When a recorded call or meeting finishes, the recording is automatically sent to CoRecruit to be transcribed and processed.

CoRecruit uses the phone number from the call to search your applicant tracking system (ATS) or CRM for a matching candidate record, then pushes the generated notes to that record automatically.

Tip: To control which meeting type CoRecruit uses for Webex calls, set a default meeting type in your settings. See How to set a default meeting type for instructions.

Important: Make sure to set up your Voice Biometrics for the best transcription results. How to set up Voice Biometrics

How to record a Webex call

CoRecruit can only process calls that have been recorded. Whether you can record a call — and where that recording is saved — depends on your Webex plan and your organisation's settings.

Cloud recording (recommended)

If your Webex account supports cloud recording, recordings are saved directly to Webex's cloud storage and will be automatically picked up by CoRecruit after the call ends.

To start recording during a call:

  1. During an active Webex call or meeting, click the Record button in the meeting controls toolbar.
  2. Select Record to Cloud if prompted.
  3. The recording will begin. You'll see a recording indicator while it's active.
  4. When the call ends, Webex saves the recording to your cloud storage, and CoRecruit imports it automatically.

Local recording

If your plan only supports local recording (saving to your computer), CoRecruit may not be able to import these recordings automatically. Check with your Webex administrator if you're unsure which recording type your account uses.

Note: Recording availability depends on your Webex plan and organisation settings. If you don't see a Record button during a call, your account may not have recording permissions enabled. Contact your Webex administrator to enable this.

Disconnecting the integration

To disconnect your Webex account from CoRecruit:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Webex.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. CoRecruit will stop importing new Webex recordings. Meetings already imported will remain in your account.

Frequently asked questions

Do all Webex calls get imported, or only ones I record?

Only recorded calls are imported. CoRecruit cannot access calls that weren't recorded. Make sure to start recording at the beginning of calls you want transcribed.

What happens if CoRecruit can't find a matching candidate for a call?

If CoRecruit can't match a phone number to a record in your ATS or CRM, the meeting will still be created in CoRecruit — it just won't have notes pushed to an external record automatically. You can manually link it to a candidate from the meeting detail page.

I connected my account but no meetings are appearing. What should I check?

First, confirm that your Webex calls are being recorded and saved to the cloud (not locally). Local recordings may not be automatically picked up. If cloud recording is enabled and calls are still not appearing, reach out to support at support@corecruit.com.

Can multiple team members each connect their own Webex account?

Yes. Each team member connects their own individual Webex account under their own CoRecruit login. Meetings are imported per user based on whose account is connected.

Does this integration work with Webex Meetings and Webex Calling?

CoRecruit's integration is designed for recorded calls processed through Webex. If you're unsure whether your specific Webex product type is supported, contact support@corecruit.com and we can confirm.
